I'm all moved into my folks' house... again. This is the third time I've moved back to my parents' house. The first time was because I was broke and in school. The second time was when I moved home from Denver and I was only home for a few months. This time it's because I'm broke and I'm preparing to go back to school. At least that's what I'm telling myself....
The real reason is because I was essentially kicked out of my apartment by my former roommates. While it's nice to be away from that environment, it kind of sucks to have these conversations:
"Blablabla do something for me blablabla!"
I almost prefer the passive aggression of emails and text messages. However, since my parents are cool enough to let me stay here, I'm kind of obligated to be their indentured servant, right? I'm not paying rent and they're letting me do my laundry and eat for free. And there's cable and internet. I foresee fatness. Also, I get to live with my dog, Airman Basic Annie.
While moving, I kicked up a buttload of dust and got laryngitis. That's how you get laryngitis, right? I've sounded like a 13 year old boy since Friday night. It's almost sexy... if you like Justin Bieber. I googled "voice cracking" and almost every picture that showed up was of Justin Bieber.
Notice how that picture is tagged with "the Justin Bieber Shrine"? It's so creepy that someone would make a site dedicated to one person's accomplishments and talents with pictures and a blog and videos and performance dates... isn't it...? How was this picture ever published? It looks like he's leaning on a chair but there's no chair and he's clearly in the middle of telling someone he's finally coming out and that Selena Gomez has just been a not-so-clever decoy. I mean, I assume that's what he's saying. Either way, he looks like Rachel Maddow which is the only redeeming quality of this photo.
Hopefully moving home will help me succeed because I GOT INTO NURSING SCHOOL! I've been wanting and trying to get into Nursing school for the last 7 years or more and becoming an RN is finally tangible. Theoretically tangible... You can't really touch becoming something.... While I love improv and comedy and I wish I could make a decent living from it, it's not exactly reliable so becoming a Nurse and making the big bucks is going to be awesome. All the Nurses who read this will probably laugh at me saying "making the big bucks" but COME ON. You guys make like $40/hr on a regular day and triple pay on holidays and overtime so stop bitching and start shoving IVs in people or whatever. Money isn't the only reason I want to be an RN. I genuinely love the smell of hospitals. And I don't mind helping sick people I guess...
